San Francisco Bay Area SCUBA lessons featuring PADI diver educational programs

Harbor Dive & Kayak Center, a 5-star PADI facility in beautiful Sausalito, California, offers two class options:

Option 1: Tropical Referral — Join us for one weekend of classroom and pool sessions, and complete your open water dives in the tropical destination of your choice; or,
Option 2: Full PADI Open Water Diver Certification — Same as above, plus complete your four open water dives with our instructor in Monterey or Salt Point over a second weekend.

Class Fees:
Instruction:		$250.00	**
Materials:	Book package includes the Open Water Manual, a waterproof bag, dive log and student record file.	$50.00
Option 1 Total:		$300.00

Ocean Rental:	Rental for second weekend in Monterey or Salt Point (wetsuit, hood, BCD, regulator set-up, weight belt, and two tanks). Pick up Friday, drop off Monday.	$75.00
PADI Card Fee (PIC):		$25.00

Option 2 Total:		$400.00

WHAT YOU NEED: You are required to have your own personal snorkeling equipment for the class (mask, snorkel, fins, boots and gloves). If you purchase these items at our store, you will receive up to a $50.00 rebate on your instruction fee. We carry a wide selection of snorkeling equipment at very competitive prices, and are happy to help you select everything to ensure proper fit. Don't miss out! Call and reserve your spot today!**

How to Sign Up

A quick call will do the trick! We just need your name, phone number and a non-refundable deposit of $50.00 to secure your spot in a class. The deposit goes toward your instructional fee and can be transferred to another class should you need to reschedule — granted you give us at least one weeks notice. If we have less than one weeks notice, you will lose the deposit. Our SCUBA equipment rental for the ocean weekend requires a $750.00 credit card authorization/deposit. This deposit is refunded upon the return of the equipment.

Note

We will transport your SCUBA equipment to the pool, but you are required to transport it to Monterey or Salt Point, and arrange for your accommodations.

Be Prepared!

Please come in to pick up your book package with enough time to read the first four chapters, and complete the knowledge reviews at the end of each, before your first weekend of instruction. The knowledge reviews must be turned in to your instructor, along with two passport photos. When you come in please allow at least 1/2 hour to be fitted for a wetsuit and buoyancy compensator, and to pick out any snorkeling gear you need.

Not Going to Use Our Gear?

If you plan to use another regulator or BCD other than ours, you must bring it in for inspection prior to your first class, and must use the same equipment for both pool and ocean weekends.
